Our Base Fees

$350 for Single Filers*
$500 for Married Filing Jointly

Our preparers who do business returns (1065, 1120S, 990) charge an hourly rate. There will be an additional electronic filing fee for these returns.
We are now accepting "Consultation" appointments! If you do not need tax preparation assistance but have other general questions, such as consultations on entity types, setting up a good record keeping system, or the potential tax impacts of future life/work/artistic changes, this may be for you.
Our consultation fee is $75.
We have always kept our prices much lower than other tax preparation services as a way of demonstrating our commitment to serving our arts community. We periodically increase our rates to reflect the reality of our costs to provide our clients with the high levels of expertise and professionalism you have come to expect from us.
Beginning this year, we are pleased to be able to prepare returns for each of the 50 states at no additional charge.
Returns that may entail additional charges include those with multiple states, investment portfolios, income reported on a K-1, more than one rental property (Schedule E), Philadelphia Earnings/Wage tax reconciliations, and unusual situations such as non-resident/expat returns. Upcharges typically range from $25 to $150 and will be at the discretion of the preparer. If any of these situations apply to you, please let us know at our meeting (or via email if you are not meeting with us) and be prepared to pay at the time of the meeting.
If you are able to pay more than our base rate to help subsidize our low-income clients , please let your preparer know! Especially if you are used to paying more for tax prep, please consider paying what you've been used to. Your additional fee makes it all the easier for us to do low cost and pro bono work for clients on Medicaid, Social Security, etc.
Last-minute cancellations and repeated rescheduling of appointments impact our ability to provide services to our clients. Appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $50 cancellation charge. The third time an appointment is rescheduled, a $50 rescheduling fee will be charged. Thank you for respecting our schedules at this very busy time of year!
As artists and freelancers ourselves, we appreciate your business!
